KMOS announce: 'We sold AmigaOS4'
by samuraijack on 03/30/2004 07:32 PM
KMOS have already sold the rights and IP to AmigaOS to international crime and terrorism syndicate SPECTRE!

Ooh, I could crush a grape
KMOS has announced that it has already sold the rights and IP of AmigaOS clone 'Amiga OS4' to another company - international crime syndicate SPECTRE. SPECTRE are respected venture capitalists, having been in the global extortion and terrorism business for some 60 years.

I went to speak to SPECTRE's CEO, Ernst Stavro Blofeld, who received us graciously in his secret nuclear bunker inside a volcano. He was waiting for me, stroking white cat upon his lap and with an evil smile playing upon his crooked, thin lips.

"Greetings, Mr. Jack," he said, as an agent with poisonous spikes on her boots politely showed me to my seat. In a very small voice I asked him why he wanted OS4. "OS4 will be of great use to us in our plan to dominate the world and force its governments to submit to us," he said, before laughing manically. "MorphOS will be anni-hilated."

Despite having their OS sold to an international crime syndicate, True Amigans were defiant. "They're not so bad, all that diamond fencing, stealing nuclear weapons, holding the world to ransom and high level assassination stuff is just FUD, probably spread by Rich Woods," said one. "This is a great day for AMIGA!!!" screamed another. "2004 will be the year of the AMIGA and world domination for SPECTRE!!!"

Not everyone was happy, however. Those annoying idiot blue trolls have already been bombarding the forums with accusations that KMOS and AInc are still laundering the Amiga IP to fend off bankruptcy yet again and keep it out of the clutches of another evil crime boss, the dastardly Bill Buck. Shortly after making comments however many of these trolls met with gruesome but completely accidental deaths. Until this we had not believed a full human body could be sucked into a desktop paper shredder, but now we do.

And we could be in no doubt over the authenticity of Mr. Blofeld's business card either. When thrown, it can take the head off a small family cat at 400 metres. Show us the version of Photoshop that can do that.

We at WrongPlanet do not care to comment on the sale, because Mr. Blofeld is a very, very nice man who will no doubt bring Amiga back and make it famous again. The AmigaOS4 IP may now be in the hands of a lying, conniving criminal - but lets face it, it wouldn't be the first time, would it? Article Manager module by by George! Software.

" it wouldn't be the first time, would it? "

Are you referring to the time that Bill Buck, like he claimed in the court docs, managed Amiga?

Compared to Bill "OS4 is 99% complete and beta testing in 30 sites" McEwen, Buck is an angel.

Don't forget all those Q&As when OS4 was already sold. :)

You might think that the last 6 months of Amiga Inc talking about the future of AmigaOS (even though they'd sold it) was odd, but you then you couldn't blame people for listening.

Even more bizzarely, some people are on Amigaworld.net asking when the new issue of CAM will be out! It looks Amiga Inc are going to continue telling people their plans for an operating system they don't own...

When will you realise that Hyperion were actually answering the OS questions and Fleecy was posting them under his name as the mouthpiece?

What? Hyperion came out with all that fantasy about AG2 and AG3 and the distributable array of services? Rubbish!

No, thats fleecy stuff alright, but the AmigaOS4.0 questions were surely answered by Hyperion.

Maybe not, since Fleecy did say he saw OS4 working in 2001, didn't he?? He must know everything about it!
