Toxic Pegasos scandal shocks AmigaWorld

Today one of the Amiga's foremost figures, AmigaWorld moderator Michael "MikeyC" Carillo, spoke out against shady underworld hardware boss Bill Buck in an exciting head to head clash in which astounding evidence is revealed - the Pegasos has LEAD in its board and components!
Like kryptonite or VX gas, this extremely toxic metal is not found in nature and is so bad that being in the same room for as little as thirty seconds with it can cause irreversible brain damage, it was agreed. It certainly isn't something you could possibly want to buy, especially if not AMIGA branded.
The alarm was raised after AmigaWorld veterans thoroughly schooled in environmental science saw right through the claims of Pegasos board manufacturers DCE. "I don't read the pig-latin on this Genesi-lover site, but all these NO LEAD signs on their site and all this compliance with EU regulations just PROVES that there is lead in the Pegasos," said MikeyC. "Pb isn't the symbol for lead anyway, any idiot can see there is no p or b in 'lead'. I think this just goes to show how desperate and stupid these Genesi fanatics really are."
This has destroyed any hope for the Pegasos running OS4, according to trusted Amiga sources. "This is pretty much the end for the Pegasus," said one anonymous source. "Asemoon and myself both agree." Another anonymous source said, "For shore, I wood not bye this Pegasus whit this head in it,"
It is also well known that the AmigaONE board had no lead or any other kind of toxin in it, despite having older and cheaper components. Forthcoming Troika and PowerVixxen boards will completely eliminate the use of lead or any other kind of toxic substance, a fact that will happily be verified by Hyperion's world class analytical chemistry testing labs.
Prospects remain bleak for the Pegasos to gain another 200 OS4 users, however. Even after promised a Pegasos Unleaded version, AmigaWorld regulars still vented dissastifaction with this Poison Board of Satan. "I heard that the board is made from FIBREGLASS!" exclaimed one. "Glass is sharp and can easily cut your head RIGHT OFF! They can keep their broken shit!!"

An interesting footnote of this story is that EU inspectors responding to a claim by MikeyC arrived at an unspecified residence in the early hours of last Tuesday, where he and an unidentified Frenchman had been keeping a Pegasos board safely contained under water in a toilet. However the detection team (probably paid off by Genesi) "discovered" more lead within the brains of the pair than in the board, and issued a RoSH non-compliance writ to both, who will now spend the next few months being decontaminated and/or lobotomised. It is feared that if this team find AmigaWorld and lobotomise its members it would mean the end of the site, although we at WrongPlanet disagree that it would make a huge difference.
A high-ranking lawyer with links to NATO and the EU told us that it is certain that this board was tampered with by Genesi to remove incriminating sky-high levels of lead. "Obviously, these EU scientists are totally clueless," he told us.
We'll keep you posted. That's if the lead in our Pegasos boards doesn't... blerghagll *drool*

The EU must release the French guy at once, who else will offer crack keyfiles for MUI to OS4 users? (They obviously can't pay for it since MUI is evil mophros crap.) The scientists shouldn't worry, the subhuman IQ, twitch and drooling were all there BEFORE he was exposed to Pegasos.

Many OS4 users have regged their MUI. Now, we are only hoping that we could get our *personal* keys some day...been waiting for months.
How many MOS users would have regged MUI if it wouldn't have been the official GUI kit?

Strings were pulled to get Helgis another AmigaONE after he ruined is old one, despite being told a thousand times not to overclock it, and then nobody gets around to sending a board to arguably one of the most important developers on the Amiga scene for definitely the most important and widely used GUI. Someone's priorities are a bit screwed :)

I bought 10 MUI keyfiles to show my support for OS4!!! I told him that I will delete the keyfiles if won't start supporting OS4! I hope many other people will do the same!!!!
